Coming off a disappointing season, we helped the Tennessee Titans give their fan base a reason to get energized and excited again. But more importantly, we gave them a reason to buy season tickets.
A New Era
With draft day on the horizon and holding the #2 pick, the Titans were in position to draft a franchise player that could change everything. As the draft approached, there was excitement around the team and fans. We recognized that to capitalize on the enthusiasm, we’d have little time to execute.
Make it an Event
We were prepared, having developed layouts for print, digital, radio, out of home, and social. And since we didn’t know whom the Titans would draft, we had several layouts ready to be activated immediately for a few different players. Digital ads were running within hours and print placements followed just days later. The ability to execute quickly allowed us to capture the draft day momentum, which saw the Titans select Oregon QB and Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota.
After the draft, we knew that continuing the momentum we generated was important. To keep season tickets sales rising, it was a must to keep the fan base excited. By using the new face of the franchise to introduce a new era in Titans football, we were able to generate a groundswell of support among fans that has led to the selling of more season tickets to date.
