Social Strategist

Summary

Are you a proven social media powerhouse? Can you blend social creative strategy, ideas and content development with data, analytics and business objectives into a seamless POV for clients? GS&F is looking for a Social Strategist to join our agency and lead efforts for pivotal social media accounts in our portfolio. The right individual will be a leader, risk-taker, creative and hungry to do social work that turns heads. This position will go to toe-to-toe with our best creative and digital minds both within our agency and among our clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of social media experience, digital content experience or social creative experience. Prior experience in agencies, start-ups or creative environments a must. Ideally, candidates are in their second or third stint in social/creative environments.
  • Channel experience in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest and TikTok is a must. Additionally, you should have a working understanding of new trends in social and apply those directly in your day-to-day work.
  • Lead social networks for B2B and B2C audiences for clients in varying industries and verticals. Candidates with prior food and beverage, health and wellness, global and/or multicultural experience will have a significant advantage in this role.
  • Proven ability to think conceptually, work within an integrated environment and collaborate with all types of creatives and content professionals.
  • Prior experience with Facebook Ad Manager, Audiences and Ad Reporting.
  • Influencer marketing and campaign experience strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated leader with proven ability to manage budget, time and PM constraints who is unafraid to voice a dissenting or unfavorable opinion if it will improve the work or our team.
  • Exceptional writer, communicator and presenter.
