React Developer
Summary
GS&F is looking for a mid-level Interactive Developer to join our growing Interactive Development team. You will be responsible for working alongside Interactive Developers and User Experience to implement web and mobile solutions that meet client needs and agency standards. Additionally, you’ll participate in daily SCRUMs, weekly sprint planning, and peer code reviews. A successful developer at GS&F must be comfortable working in a creative, fast-paced and collaborative environment; exemplify a service-oriented mentality; and be able to communicate effectively across departments with all internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience working within a development team implementing, launching and maintaining professional websites across a variety of platforms; prior agency experience a significant plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; significant work experience and professional portfolio would be considered
- Strong knowledge of React, React Native or JavaScript as well as troubleshooting cross-browser capability issues
- Previous experience using WordPress and popular CMS platforms
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work alongside other developers to plan and move tickets through the software development life cycle
- Understanding of Docker and GIT
- Participate in code reviews as required to assure code is up to department standard
- Work with Quality Assurance to perform testing swarms on projects
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence)
- Must be a team player in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
