Account Coordinator, Public Relations

Summary

We’re looking for an Account Coordinator to join our growing Public Relations team to support a variety of different accounts. This position requires great writing skills and experience in researching and building media contacts, as well as reporting and analytics. Previous internship or entry-level experiences in agencies or other fast-paced environments are also required. Candidates must be highly proactive, have a “roll up your sleeves” mentality and be unafraid of hard work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of public relations and social media experience outside of collegiate setting; agency experience is a significant plus
  • Plenty of experience writing press releases and media advisories, byline article research and writing, developing pitches and distributing to media
  • Should be comfortable in a client-facing setting and present yourself in a polished, professional and energetic manner
  • Entry-level social media experience and a desire to learn social tactics
  • Durable goods and B2B experience is a plus along with a passion for working with non-consumer brands
  • Not afraid to dive into detailed tasks and administrative work, including preparing reports, estimates, presentations and more
  • Candidates should be prepared to flourish in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and thrive on getting things done quickly and well
