The Land Trust For Tennessee – A Grand Adventure

Jeanie Nelson Conservation Legacy Fundraiser

When Jeanie Nelson stepped down as CEO and co-founder of The Land Trust for Tennessee, the nonprofit organization turned to us to ensure that her farewell event would be a fundraising effort worthy of a true environmental hero. Jeanie was the first female lawyer in Nashville, and she is an avid high-altitude climber.

The Land Trust for Tennessee protects 100,000 acres of our state’s natural and historic landscapes. The best way to honor Jeanie was to turn her retirement party into a well-publicized fundraiser for the Jeanie Nelson Conservation Legacy Fund.

Honoring Two Decades Of Service

For the event themed “A Grand Adventure,” we created an invitation, poster and special leave-behind, plus a video chronicling Jeanie’s long and distinguished career. Former Nashville mayor (and The Land Trust co-founder) Phil Bredesen was the event’s keynote speaker.

Raising Millions For Statewide Conservation

The retirement event raised more than $2 million for the Jeanie Nelson Conservation Legacy Fund, helping ensure that some of Tennessee’s most treasured farmland, historic sites and wildlife habitats will be protected for generations to come.
